History

The company was formed in 1993 to design and supply coiling equipment for HDPE pressure pipe. By 1996, we had completed sales to all UK pipe manufacturers, who all remain as customers today. Our first overseas contract was completed in 1998 and we have continued to grow export sales to their current level of 75% of turnover. As our knowledge and experience of coiling and handling of flexible products has grown, we have successfully applied our expertise to coiling a wide variety of plastic flexibles. Since 2002, due to continued success, PCT further expanded the industry sectors served to include the manufacture of sub-sea flexibles, manufacture of wire rope, and since 2008, the installation of sub-sea flexibles. We now supply an ever growing product range of coiling and handling equipment to a global client base, working in partnership with industry leaders to ensure the continual development and growth of our technologies.
