Applications
Low Ovality (LV) Technology has been specifically developed for use with polyethylene pipe, in particular, pressure pipe such as gas and water pipe. It can be used on all pipe sizes that are currently supplied in coils as well as being capable of coiling larger pipe diameters which have previously only been supplied in straight lengths (sticks). LV Technology is mainly used on pipe diameters from 63 to 250mm and on SDR’s from 11 to 26.
What is LV Technology?
LV Technology is a unique method of coiling high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE), which enables pipe to be coiled with greatly reduced ovality, or to be coiled at much smaller diameters whilst maintaining acceptable levels of ovality. The advantages of using this system are so great, many of the World’s leading pipe manufacturer’s now consider LV Technology as an essential system for the manufacture of large diameter HDPE pipe.
